Face to face - step 5
The wolf is finished! Buffalo, beware of my brushes, I’m coming for you!

I’m proud to announce that I have been accepted in the Worlwide Women Artists Online group!
Woohoo, looks like it’s gonna be fun!
Finally, I had time to start on the wolf!
I’m quite happy with it at the moment, it’s a lot of work, I almost have to paint all the hairs, but it’s worth it.
Can’t wait to see it finished!

More grass in the middle ground! I think I’ll leave the foreground for later, I’m itching to start on the wolf!

Not much time for art lately, but I managed to paint the backround on this one. I wanted something very calm, peaceful to contrast with the extreme tension of the scene so I opted for grassland and gentle hills on a bright sunny day.

As promised, here is the step by step painting process for my panel “Desert Jewels”. Enjoy!
I started a new acrylic painting yesterday (8″ x 16″ gallery-wrapped canvas) of a wolf hunting a bison (or is it the contrary?
). If it’s good enough, I’ll be entering it in upcoming juried artshows.
I’ll post the different steps as the paining progresses.

Happy 4th of July to all our American friends!!!
